What security measures are in place?

The facility and all sheds are monitored 24/7 by security cameras. The office has a security camera and an alarm fitted. The gates are electronic and the only way you can enter the facility is via the electronic gates. Each customer received their own unique pin code which is only valid whilst their items are stored with us.

Is there a minimum rental period?

A.

Four weeks

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A.

No deposit is required, however you will need to pay 4 weeks rent in advance to secure your shed

How do I pay for my shed?

A.

You will be billed monthly for your shed and will need to ensure your bill is paid on time to avoid incurring late fees. You can pay your bill via eftpos or cash to office staff or alternatively you can arrange to directly deposit money into our bank account.

When can I access my shed?

A.

You can access your shed 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Each customer is given a unique security number which enables them access through the electronic security gates at any time.

How do I lock my shed?

A.

You provide your own padlock for your shed as you are the only person who is to have access. Hogbin Drive Self Storage sells padlocks for your convenience.

Can I insure my goods whilst in storage?

A.

It is your responsibility to arrange insurance of any goods that you store within the shed. You can do this by obtaining insurance cover for the contents, or some home contents policies allow you to extend the cover to goods stored at another location.

What do I do if I don’t need my shed anymore?

A.

You must provide us with 7 days notice of your intention to vacate the shed.
